First Day of School-2013

It's that time of year again...off to school the kids go!  I'm sad to see them go.  They are growing up too fast.  They each go to three different schools this year!  Here we go for another fun year of school!

Tatum is the first to go.  She has zero hour at 6:30 am!  She is a sophomore this year!  Crazy!  She is so beautiful, and tall (she is 5'10).  Love this girl so much!  She is kind, loyal, and so much fun to be around.  She is on varsity cheer this year which will keep her super busy! Go Perry Pumas!

Trevin is in 5th grade this year at Ryan Elementary!  He has an amazing teacher, Mrs. Witte!  This kid loves school and was excited to be back.  He's such a good student and loves being silly.  He really is a great kid but I wish he would stop growing up!  He's my baby!  I love him!

Trent is starting Jr. High this year!  He was so excited to be going to a new school.  He is a Payne Panther this year.  He is in the CATS (Chandler Academically Talented Student) Program and will have so much fun with his friends.  He hopes to be in sports too if the academic part doesn't get in the way!  I love Trent!  He is a natural leader, sweet, and such a funny kid.  He is truly a goofball!

Newport Beach 2013

Once again we went to Newport Beach CA for our annual trip with the family.  It was fun to have our friends there too.  It was our last week of summer break and we enjoyed it so much.  I never get sick of going to Newport Beach!

Summer in New England

We enjoyed visiting New England in the summer.  We celebrated Tatum's 15th birthday, went to a Boston Red Sox game, and stayed in Maine over the 4th of July.  The best part of the vacation was seeing all of our family.  It was so nice have the kids hang out with their cousins and aunts and uncles.  We love New England!

The French Riviera-Portifino Italy

Kevin and I went to the French Riviera for a nice trip.  We saw some amazing sites and had so much fun!  This was a "business" trip for Kevin but it didn't seem like one!  It was first class all the way!  Sometimes I just love Kevin's job!

Our first stop was Portifino, Italy.  It was a cute little village that reminded me of Disneyland's "Pirates of the Caribbean".  Of course being in Italy, all I could think of was getting some Italian food!  Yep, it was amazing!  Just like I remembered it to be!  We also took a bus to St. Marguerite.  That was also a cute little fishing village!

Bonifacio, Corsica France

Our second stop along the French Riviera was Corsica, France.  It was a really cool port with amazing views.  The port of Bonifacio was beautiful with the white rock canyons sticking out of the Mediterranean.  The area was built like a huge fort.  We got our first taste of French food and cute French boutiques.

Cannes, France

The third stop was Cannes, France.  It's a really cool city on the Mediterranean.  The best part of this stop was that we decided to explore a different area.  So we rented a car and went up to the top of the canyon to this chateau called Gourdon.  It was so quaint and adorable.  I felt like Belle in her village in "Beauty and the Beast".  They had cute boutiques, and cafe's.  I absolutely loved it.  The views were breathtaking.  I'm so glad we went on this little excursion.

Monte Carlo, Monaco

Our last stop was Monte Carlo, Monaco.  This city was absolutely fabulous.  Seriously rich people live here.  It was cool to see the multi-million dollar yachts and people driving ferrari's like they were Toyota's.  We got to see the famous casino and the Hotel De Paris just like in the movies.  My favorite part of the city was seeing the Prince of Monaco's Palace.  It was super beautiful.

Trent and the Red Sox win championship!

It was an amazing season for Trent for the second year in a row! Not only do the Red Sox win the Gilbert American Little League championship, they went on to win the tournament of champions! They beat all the teams from the other little leagues in our area. (East Valley) Way to go Red Sox. On a side note, Trent had some amazing hits to help his team win! Way to go Trent!
