Every year we have brand new Christmas church outfits.  However, Kevin chooses to wear his traditional Grinch Tie.  Merry Christmas everyone!

The Dawes Explore the Grand Canyon

During our Thanksgiving weekend, we ventured up to the Grand Canyon.  It was the first time our kids had seen it.  Being from Arizona, we figured it was a must!  Our kids are finally old enough to not have to worry about them falling in.  The views were breathtaking.  We wanted to see the sunset on the canyon and the sunrise.  It did not disappoint!  It is truly one of God's masterpieces!

Thanksgiving in Sedona

We spent a nice quiet Thanksgiving in Sedona with my mom and dad.  We enjoyed hanging out with the kids playing football, playing near Oak Creek Canyon and of course eating a huge Turkey dinner.

Trent turns 13

Watch out, we have another teenager in the Dawe House!  Trent celebrated his 13th birthday by taking his buddies to a Cardinals game.  They got to sit in the Annexus Suite so it was tons of fun!  Happy Birthday to such a stud!  We love you Trent!

Trevin enjoys fall in New England

During fall break, Trevin talked Nana Jan into flying him to visit New England.  How can you resist Trevin?  He had a blast visiting his New England cousins and his Aunt Robbin and Uncle Billy.  He went apple picking, and he even got to go to the first post season Red Sox game!  They of course went on to win the World Series!  Trevin had a blast!  He never even got homesick!

Fall Break 2013

We didn't do too much during Fall Break...so we decided to take a quick road trip to California.  We stopped at Newport Beach to catch some waves for a few hours.  The weather was perfect!  Then the next day we met some friends and went to Knott's Berry Farm. Tatum got to hang out with her cheer friends Tierney and Kaylee.  It was a fun day!  Trent even got to bring his bestie Porter Cook!  It was a quick trip but worth it!

It's been so much fun watching Tatum cheer for Perry High School.  This year she is on the Varsity team so Friday Nights have been a party!  Tatum is such a cute Puma!

First Day of School-2013

It's that time of year again...off to school the kids go!  I'm sad to see them go.  They are growing up too fast.  They each go to three different schools this year!  Here we go for another fun year of school!

 Tatum is the first to go.  She has zero hour at 6:30 am!  She is a sophomore this year!  Crazy!  She is so beautiful, and tall (she is 5'10).  Love this girl so much!  She is kind, loyal, and so much fun to be around.  She is on varsity cheer this year which will keep her super busy! Go Perry Pumas!

 Trevin is in 5th grade this year at Ryan Elementary!  He has an amazing teacher, Mrs. Witte!  This kid loves school and was excited to be back.  He's such a good student and loves being silly.  He really is a great kid but I wish he would stop growing up!  He's my baby!  I love him!

 Trent is starting Jr. High this year!  He was so excited to be going to a new school.  He is a Payne Panther this year.  He is in the CATS (Chandler Academically Talented Student) Program and will have so much fun with his friends.  He hopes to be in sports too if the academic part doesn't get in the way!  I love Trent!  He is a natural leader, sweet, and such a funny kid.  He is truly a goofball!
